At Stone Bridge Artisanal Pizza, we believe that “comfort food” and “healthy food” don’t have to be two different things. The only label that matters is “good food.”
We handcraft each pizza to order, topping our slow-fermented dough with gourmet, sustainably grown ingredients. Pizzas are fired to perfection in our open hearth oven.
And, Oh! The Dough
Our crust is a must! We spent nearly two years developing our pizza dough to produce a light, thin crust and intense flavors. We’re delighted that we regularly hear from customers who are usually “crust leavers” but our dough has turned them into crust lovers.
The delicious taste comes from a lengthy fermentation process, over 48 hours. The time allows yeast to create more complex natural flavors. It also means we don’t need to add any extra sugar to force quick yeast interaction.
However, it’s rare to accomplish long fermentation without the dough bubbling, making a puffy crust. We wanted thin crust or New York style pizza. We were finally able to achieve a thin crust with long fermentation by developing a proprietary mixing technique, choosing specialty malted wheat flour and adjusting temperature to delay yeast activity.
We also bake this same pizza dough into the bread we use for our wonderful “Stonewich” sandwiches.

A variety of gourmet pizzas will delight any crowd, and we cater for events of any size, from a small boardroom luncheon to a staff office party. We can also host your private function in our rustic-modern Manhattan restaurant.
